  • Learners credited with this unit standard will be capable of: Explaining the specified requirements to conduct a base-line risk assessment.
  • Preparing a base-line risk assessment.
  • Conducting and developing a base-line risk assessment.
  • Initiating remedial actions and control measures for hazards identified and risks assessed.

This Unit Standard is intended for all management staff and also line managers/ safety officers/ safety managers who should know how to prepare a baseline risk assessment. Baseline risk assessment should be developed from your operational method statements, with sequence of methodology with risk rating.
