INTRODUCTION

This safety officer workshop presentation is designed for individuals who are taking on health and safety roles and responsibilities within their workplace. This presentation workshop covers the basic modules +- 40 most essential building blocks, through which a safety officer will have to undertake. Anyone can become a safety officer, with the right skills, knowledge, training and experience. This is an entry level foundational workshop presentation for new aspiring candidates with no or previous experience in HSE and HSE knowledge. This is the first stage to becoming a safety officer.

The position of a safety officer is an important role within any business organization and the role is usually adopted by small, medium to large businesses and international organizations. This safety officer workshop presentation will typically teach, highlight, advise, the candidates to understand workplace HSE laws and legislation, how to conduct risk assessments, access control, induction, safe working procedures, risk assessments, and production application processes in earthworks; civils; electrical, mechanical and structural steel installation assembly and implement control measures to prevent accidents and injuries from happening. WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Anybody with little or NO skills or some with HSE knowledge practical experience or background; and without any formal safety training.  Those who would like to pursue a career in becoming a SAFETY OFFICER; and who have a responsibility to manage the safety of employees and staff; and manage workplace safety.

PRE-REQUISITES

  • English proficiency.
  • Minimum grade 10 entry level.
  • Mathematics, Maths Literacy
